Escape to the Black Hills at Apache Rose, a spacious 5-bedroom mountain lodge tucked into the trees just outside historic Deadwood. With beautiful forest and valley views, a large deck, five king bedrooms, multiple gathering spaces, and room for up to 10 guests, this home is a wonderful setting for family vacations, group getaways, and Black Hills adventures.

Located just off Maitland Road and approximately 6 miles from downtown Deadwood, Apache Rose gives you the peaceful, private feel of a mountain retreat while keeping you close to everything the Northern Black Hills has to offer. Spend your days exploring nearby ATV trails, skiing at Terry Peak, visiting Deadwood's restaurants and casinos, or taking the short drive to beautiful Spearfish Canyon.

When you're ready to slow down, head back to the lodge, settle in by the fire, or relax on the large deck surrounded by the beauty of the Black Hills. On a clear evening, the peaceful setting and star-filled skies make it easy to forget how close you are to town.

The Home

With more than 2,100 square feet of living space spread across three levels, Apache Rose offers plenty of room for your group to gather together while still having space to spread out.

The main level features an open-concept great room with soaring windows that fill the space with natural light and showcase the surrounding scenery. A gas fireplace creates a cozy place to relax, while the open kitchen and dining area make meals and evenings together easy.

Upstairs, you'll find a loft overlooking the great room along with two additional king bedrooms.

The lower level offers two more king bedrooms and a second living area with a TV, fireplace, and foosball table—perfect for movie nights, games, or giving different generations their own space to unwind. From here, step directly outside onto the covered patio.

Guests also have access to the two-stall garage. The private driveway provides additional parking and room for trailers, making Apache Rose especially convenient for groups bringing ATVs or other recreational equipment.

Spend your trip trail riding, hiking, skiing, fishing, sightseeing, or exploring Deadwood and Lead. For a longer day trip, Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, Black Elk Peak, and many other Black Hills favorites are approximately an hour's drive away.
